Taxi

Taxi’s are allowed in Swanston Street at all times enabling them to drop off or pick up passengers at the City Square Motel ‘Front Door’ at all times.

Transport to Motel from Tullamarine Airport

SKYBUS Airport Coach Service Departs Melbourne Airport to Melbourne City every 30min or Departs Spencer St Station to Airport every 30min. Pick up and drop off is located just outside the motel. Bookings are required 24 hours prior departure from the hotel, speak with reception for more information or call Skybus direct on (03) 9600 1711.

Tram

Swanston Street tram is located at the doorstep taking you down St kilda Road to St Kilda Esplanade and beach or back the other direction to North Melbourne & Carlton areas. This tram will cross over many intersections for you to change your direction of travel. We have transport maps available at reception.

Train

Flinders Street Station is located one block away (approx 3 minute walk). Trains to any suburb will pass through this main station; please see information at the station to see which train you should catch. Country trains will depart from Southern Cross (Spencer street) Station only; this is accessible via Flinders street station or the Bourke street tram.

Car Parking

Overnight Parking is available from Kings Gate Secure Parking, 172 Flinders St, opposite Federation Square, Melbourne. (Back entrance on Flinders Lane) The cost is $16 per 24hr period on the condition that the ticket has been validated at our reception before your exit from the carpark.
